Greenhouse Warranty Policy

At GreenhouseSale.ca, we are dedicated to providing high-quality structures and professional support that exceed the expectations of our clients. We believe a premium greenhouse is an investment in your lifestyle, and our team is committed to ensuring you select the right model for your specific needs.

We maintain rigorous quality control standards to deliver faultless products. Should any issue arise, we will work diligently to resolve it in a timely manner.

1. Warranty Eligibility

This limited warranty applies exclusively to the original retail purchaser whose order was placed directly through GreenhouseSale.ca.

• Non-Transferable: Coverage does not extend to products obtained via third-party transfers, liquidation outlets, or unauthorized distributors.

• Courtesy Support: For greenhouses acquired through other channels, we offer technical guidance and replacement parts on a paid basis, subject to current inventory availability.

2. Greenhouse Structure Coverage

• Scope: We provide a ten-year limited warranty on aluminum framing, stainless steel fasteners, and engineered connection details against manufacturing defects present at the time of delivery.

• Conditions: The frame must be anchored to a level foundation and inspected periodically for seal integrity and bolt tightness.

• Exclusions: This coverage does not include polycarbonate glazing, freight charges, weather-related impacts, or damage resulting from installation methods that deviate from our published manuals.

3. Polycarbonate Panels

Glazing panels are factory-inspected for quality. Due to the nature of the material, specific conditions apply:

• Inspection Window: Claims for manufacturing defects must be submitted via email within three (3) calendar days of delivery, supported by photographs and original proof of purchase.

• Normal Aging: Gradual changes in gloss, color, or light transmission caused by UV exposure or environmental factors are considered normal aging characteristics of thermoplastic glazing and are excluded from warranty remedies.

• Remedies: If a qualifying defect is confirmed, GreenhouseSale.ca may, at its discretion, repair the panel, provide a replacement, or issue a pro-rated credit for the specific panel's value. All costs related to removal, re-installation, and freight remain the purchaser’s responsibility.

• Voiding Factors: Coverage is void if the UV-protected side is installed facing inward, or if panels are scratched, altered, or exposed to incompatible chemicals.

4. Accessories

Items such as Automatic Vent Openers, Louvers, Shelving, Hanger Clips, Doors, and Solar Powered Ventilators carry a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

• Exclusions: Installation errors, site-related corrosion, impact/weather damage, and normal wear-and-tear are not covered.

5. Seasonal Load & Wind Advisory

To ensure long-term performance in variable climates, we recommend the following preventative maintenance (advisory only):

• Brace the ridge before heavy snowfall.

• Clear roof snow accumulation exceeding 12 inches (30 cm).

• Cross-tie the frame during wind advisories and ensure all vents and doors are fully closed.

• Guard the structure against falling branches or snow from adjacent roofs.

6. Submitting a Claim

To initiate a claim, please email info@greenhousesale.ca. To expedite your request, please include:

1. Your Greenhouse Model Number (found on the instruction manual).

2. Your Order/Serial Number.

3. Clear photographs of the defect.

4. Identification of the specific part numbers referencing the assembly instructions.

7. Limitations & Disclaimer

Except as expressly stated, GreenhouseSale.ca makes no other warranties—express, implied, or statutory—including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Our liability is strictly limited to the remedies described above and shall not exceed the original purchase price of the specific component in question. GreenhouseSale.ca is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of use or personal injury.
